Position responsibilities include supervision of surface processing and downhole lift design, equipment and service procurement, project logistics, cost management, onsite operations, and safety efforts for the entirety of the production cycle from turn in line through the well life to plug and abandon. This role’s primary focus will be the optimization and maintenance of producing properties at the maximum economic rate while ensuring operations are compliant with governmental and contractual requirements.

This role focuses on maximizing daily production, operate SWD systems, performing routine equipment maintenance, and accurately reporting production data using systems such as SCADA, Field Operator, and Carte. The Lease Operator plays a key role in achieving company goals related to production optimization, cost control, regulatory compliance, and safety performance, while fostering a culture that is selfless, accountable, and never settling.

The technician may also assist in other field activities as needed.
*Periodic lifting in excess of 50 lbs may be required. Exposure to extremes in temperature. Exposure to high noise levels in excess of 85 dBa requiring hearing protections as well as exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals and materials requiring use of proper PPE.

Under the general supervision of the Automation Foreman, the Automation Technician is responsible for complex oilfield automation tasks to aid in the oversight for the optimization of oilfield automation and communications systems. The position requires the individual to assist Field personnel, Production, Construction and Engineering staff to implement and maintain automation equipment in a field environment. When problems occur, the Automation Technician is responsible for handling the immediate problem and recommending any necessary changes. Must desire to work in a collaborative multi-functional team setting that prioritizes a “One Team” approach to problem solving, and that can bring a continuous improvement mindset to the team.
